The Institute of Development Management (IDM) marked yet another historic milestone last week as the Minister for State President, Hon. Moeti C. Mohwasa, officially presided over the 19th Joint Graduation Ceremony held at the iconic ThabaBosiu Cultural Village in Maseru, Lesotho.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

As we wrap up the year, we extend our warmest commendation to Class of 2024 as they were conferred with Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates at the 18th IDM Joint Graduation Ceremony held in Eswatini last week.
 
What a momentous occasion for all the 930 graduates from Botswana Campus. The event marked a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. They all remain a true symbol of success in the history of our great institution.

A huge congratulations to Honourable Wynter Mmolotsi the Honourable Member of Parliament for Francistown South. Wynter Mmolotsi pursued the Bachelor of Education (Management) at IDM Botswana ,Francistown campus from July 2021- June 2024, whilst being a dedicated Member of Parliament for Francistown South! He will be graduating on 29th November 2024.His success is proof that with vision, dedication and perseverance, you can achieve anything!

The Institute of Development Management (IDM) celebrated Botswana's 58th Independence Day with cultural pride and great enthusiasm at it’s Gaborone and Francistown campuses. The day was marked by splendid traditional games, vibrant attire, and a feast of Setswana cuisine, bringing employees together in a spirit of unity and celebration.
 

IDM Sponsors Moremogolo Prize Giving Ceremony

The Moremogolo Primary School in Francistown, celebrated its annual prize-giving ceremony on the 20th September 2024, under the theme, “Mind Set Change: Promoting Growth through Hard Work.” Officiating at the event, IDM Francistown Campus Manager Elijah Moakofhi acknowledged the achievement of learners, encouraging them to always ‘shoot the stars.’

Eswatini Qualifications Authority facilitated a workshop on the process of registering qualifications on the framework. This was described as a final step to ensuring quality of qualifications. This informative and interactive session was attended by IDM faculty to gain insights on the proper guidelines on the process of registration of programmes on the national framework.

Dr Mooko addresses the North East Region 2024 Excellence Awards

Institute of Development Management (IDM) Botswana Country Director, Dr Theophilus Mooko has shared insights on leadership, focusing on the habits that high-impact leaders should embrace to build great teams and cultures within organizations.
He was giving a word of encouragement at the recent North East Region 2024 Excellence Awards held at Masunga Senior Secondary School. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MESD) under the theme "Recognising Excellence within the Mindset Change Framework."
